Our office continues to follow CDC guidelines for operation. We are also following hospital and surgery center guidelines for surgery scheduling and will contact patients to schedule their surgery once we receive clearance to proceed. Our doctors and physician assistants have been tested for the COVID 19 virus as a standard protocol for any hospital procedures and have all tested negative for the virus. We are taking additional steps to sanitize the office and equipment with extra attention being given to our waiting area and exam rooms.
Our patients are being prescreened and advised, if they are high risk to the virus, to reschedule their appointments.
In order to alleviate overcrowding in the waiting room, we are asking patients to come to their appointment alone unless the patient is a minor, needs translation services or if they need medical assistance. Patients who have traveled out of the country or have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus, or are experiencing any symptoms such as fever, cough, and difficulty breathing are asked to call us at 847-437-9889 to reschedule their appointment.
