Treatment Philosophy
Dr. Odell strongly believes most orthopedic conditions are best treated with conservative management and surgery is only recommended when conservative options do not achieve the desired results. Dr. Odell obtains a patient’s history, reviews diagnostic tests and performs a detailed examination to determine an accurate diagnosis. He then explains appropriate treatment options so the patient may be actively involved in choosing the best treatment for their individual orthopedic problem.
This collaborative and educational approach by Dr. Odell is well received and appreciated by his patients. The ultimate goal is to get patients to return to their activities-of-daily-living, back to work or competitive sports as quickly as possible.
